Job summary

Agile Defense, Inc. is seeking an Information Assurance & Compliance Specialist I to maintain ATOs for USARC information systems. The role emphasizes applying NIST/RMF guidance, conducting audits, and coordinating with stakeholders to improve security posture.

Travel up to 25% to USAR sites; must hold Sec+ and have an active US Secret clearance. Strong briefing skills and MS Office proficiency are essential for reports, briefings, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology related field or two years of applicable experience.
• Ability to develop, create and deliver briefings to management personnel.
• Experience with MS Office Suite (MS Project, Word, OneNote, Access, Visio, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).
• Basic understanding of information assurance, cybersecurity principles, and security best practices.
• Familiarity with federal cybersecurity or compliance frameworks such as NIST or RMF is a plus.
• Active Sec+ certification required.
• Willingness and ability to travel to USAR sites (10%-25%).
• Active US Secret security clearance to start.

Responsibilities

• Operate as part of a team responsible for procedures and deliverables related to DISA security requirements.
• Provide input to government periodic evaluation reports including goals, targets, and effectiveness.
• Contribute to the catalog of standard service reports (risk, compliance, CCRI, etc.).
• Develop and maintain monthly service audits and report findings.
• Conduct service audits to identify improvements and provide summaries.
• Prepare input for government reports on security program effectiveness.
• Participate in Cybersecurity Training Program and coordinate tasks with multiple stakeholders.
