Job summary

Vaco by Highspring is seeking a SEC Reporting Consultant for a fully remote engagement of approximately 12 to 18 months. The role supports external financial reporting and regulatory filing activities for a publicly traded company.

You will review annual filings, statements, footnotes, and schedules, identify disclosure gaps, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver accurate, filing-ready materials. Strong US GAAP knowledge and public accounting experience are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in public accounting, SEC reporting, financial reporting, or a related function.
• Hands-on experience preparing or reviewing SEC filings, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, or comparable regulatory filings.
• Strong technical accounting and U.S. GAAP financial reporting knowledge.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to work independently, maintain exceptional attention to detail, and deliver accurate work within compressed reporting timelines.

Our client, a publicly traded company, is seeking an SEC Reporting Consultant to provide specialized support across external financial reporting and regulatory filing activities. This role is fully remote and has an anticipated duration of approximately 12 to 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed reviews of annual financial filings and related disclosures for accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors, including but not limited to:

• The individual's skill sets, experience, and training;
• Licensure and certifications;
• Office location and other geographic considerations;
• Other business and organizational needs.

With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco by Highspring notes that the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
