Job summary

The Barnett's Seaworthy team in New Orleans is seeking a full-time food runner to support dining operations during busy service periods. You will deliver food quickly and accurately, help maintain expo line and service stations, and assist with clearing tables and refilling beverages.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma (preferred) and previous restaurant or hospitality experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to ensure a smooth, safe, and enjoyable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced dining environment is a plus.

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently during high-volume service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders to guests quickly, accurately, and professionally.
• Ensure dishes are delivered at the correct temperature and presentation.
• Communicate with kitchen staff and servers to maintain smooth service flow.
• Assist servers by clearing plates, refilling beverages, and resetting tables as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expo line, service stations, and dining areas.
• Help prepare garnishes, sauces, or condiments for service when needed.
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Assist with opening, running, and closing side duties.
