Job summary

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural Engineer for our Seattle office. The role focuses on designing commercial and industrial structures with a multi-disciplinary team, requiring 4–8 years of experience and PE registration.

The candidate should be enthusiastic, growth-oriented, and capable of leading client interactions. This position is not eligible for sponsorship and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Qualifications

• A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the applicable state.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in structural design of buildings or similar structures.
• Experience with software programs such as Revit, RISA, ETABS, and Microsoft Office.
• Design experience with steel, concrete; masonry, wood; light gauge framing (preferred).
• Knowledge of IBC and US design standards; ASCE 41 preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills; ability to manage relationships with clients.
• Experience as a project manager and working in a multi-disciplinary team (preferred).
