Job summary

Alloyed is seeking a dedicated Site Safety & Facilities Officer to join the Seattle team. This full-time dual-role position ensures the site remains safe, compliant, and well-maintained, while aligning local practice with UK-based safety standards and regulations.

You will work closely with the UK H&S team and the Seattle Site Manager to implement programs, perform inspections, coordinate with licensed contractors, and handle day-to-day facilities tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in facilities management and safety/EHS coordination.
• Ability to research local regulatory requirements and liaise with service providers.
• Hands-on maintenance skills and ability to work with contractors.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with cross-time-zone coordination.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Seattle site’s primary health and safety contact, implementing UK H&S programs while ensuring local regulatory alignment.
• Conduct workplace inspections and track remediation to closure.
• Create/maintain risk assessments, safe-work procedures, signage, records.
• Investigate accidents and report to UK H&S team.
• Carry out minor maintenance and handle space moves and light repairs.
• Coordinate with licensed contractors for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and waste services.
• Ensure site cleanliness, safety, accessibility, and compliance.
• Assist with office/workspace reconfigurations.
• Liaise with UK teams on projects, procurement, and maintenance schedules.
