Job summary

Emerging Blue, Inc. is seeking an experienced Store Manager for our premium Seattle location in University Village. You will lead a high-performing team, drive sales, and cultivate strong client relationships to foster loyalty and repeat business.

You’ll coach and mentor staff, maintain store standards, and partner with HR to support people development while delivering a best-in-class customer experience. Weekend/evening availability is expected.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive retail leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Seattle retail market and local customer base.
• Experience at University Village is strongly preferred.
• Proven track record in coaching and developing retail teams.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales and store growth with clienteling.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, onboard, develop, and retain a strong store team.
• Coach team through floor observations, feedback, and 1:1s.
• Build a stable, high-performing culture with clear expectations.
• Train staff on service standards, selling skills, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Lead the store leadership team with clear ownership of responsibilities.
• Manage performance and employee relations with HR support.
• Identify opportunities to boost engagement, development, and retention.
• Lead from the floor, model exceptional customer service and selling behaviors.
• Develop long-term client relationships to drive loyalty and repeat business.
• Drive sales, conversion, and KPIs with daily coaching and accountability.
• Analyze store performance and find growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong product knowledge and communicate features and brand story.
• Leverage Seattle market insights to grow the business.
• Plan and execute local events to boost engagement and sales.
• Maintain high standards in visual merchandising and store presentation.
