Job summary

Zohorecruit is assisting a leading commercial practice group in Seattle in their search for a junior-level associate to join the Real Estate Practice. This role involves handling complex real estate transactions, managing workstreams both independently and with deal teams.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of CRE experience, are licensed or eligible to practice in Washington, and bring strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills along with solid business acumen.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1+ years of experience working on commercial real estate transactions in a law firm setting.
• Currently licensed to practice law in Washington state, or eligible to become licensed in WA.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills; exceptional business acumen; ability to manage components of transactions independently.
• Excellent academic credentials and professional references.

Responsibilities

• Financings: Assist with lender- and borrower-side mortgage and mezzanine financings.
• Acquisitions & Dispositions: Support commercial real estate acquisition and disposition transactions, including due diligence and closing management.
• Leasing & JVs: Draft and negotiate commercial real estate leases and support joint venture (JV) transactions.
• Client Interaction: Work directly with clients and collaborate with team members to advance transaction goals.
