Permanent Placements LLC is sourcing a Real Estate Associate for a premier international law firm in Seattle. The role targets a junior attorney with 1+ years of commercial real estate transactional experience to work on financing, acquisitions, leasing, and joint ventures with significant client exposure.

The attorney will draft and negotiate documents, perform due diligence, manage closing components, and collaborate with clients and cross‑practice teams on sophisticated nationwide matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington Bar admission, or ability to obtain promptly.
• Minimum 1 year of commercial real estate transactional experience.
• Experience with real estate finance, acquisitions/dispositions, leasing, or joint ventures.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including mortgage and mezzanine financings, acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, and joint ventures.
• Represent lenders, borrowers, investors, developers, and other market participants.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents and ancillary agreements.
• Conduct due diligence and support transaction structuring.
• Manage transaction components from diligence through closing.
• Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, lenders, investors, and internal deal teams.
• Provide practical business-oriented advice to clients throughout transactions.
• Work collaboratively with attorneys across multiple practice groups.
