Chess Wizards is seeking enthusiastic, reliable instructors to join our after-school enrichment program in Seattle, WA. As an instructor, you will lead engaging chess classes for elementary students, using a structured curriculum and promoting good sportsmanship.

Classes run weekday afternoons (2:00 PM–5:00 PM) with 1–5 classes per week and mileage reimbursement for travel over 15 miles one way. Join a team that offers training, advancement, and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational or recreational settings.
• Ability to lead a class independently and create interactive, engaging sessions.
• Strong reliability and time-management to manage weekday afternoon classes.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using a structured curriculum.
• Travel to local school sites for each session and arrive prepared.
