Job summary

Amazon in Seattle is seeking an engineering leader for the Prime Video Android team. You will lead a group of engineers responsible for the Android app's UX and platform, shaping a fast, delightful, and reliable experience for millions of customers worldwide.

You will own the roadmap and collaborate across PM, UX, and other engineering teams while growing leaders internally and driving scalable, high-quality mobile software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering team management experience.
• 7+ years of direct engineering team experience.
• 3+ years designing or architecting scalable systems.
• 8+ years leading multi-tier web services development.
• Experience with full software lifecycle including code reviews, testing, and live ops.
• Experience partnering with product or program management teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers building the Prime Video Android app.
• Own the roadmap, vision and strategy to deliver a fast, delightful Android experience.
• Coach teams in design, development, testing, and operations for new features.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, TPMs, and other engineers to align on priorities.
