Job summary

The Miami HEAT and Kaseya Center are seeking a Seating Technician Assistant to oversee the maintenance, operation and repair of seating systems, as well as related mechanical tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with repairs, replacements, and installation of seats, cushions, and railings, and performing general maintenance across the facility.

A one-year certificate or six months to a year of related experience is required, with knowledge of safety procedures and reporting.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance, operation and repair of seating systems and related equipment.
• Assist with repairs, replacements and installation of seats, cushions, railings and general seating structures.
• Assist in repairs and rebuilding of motors, gear drives, hydraulics, and rotating assemblies as needed.
• Follow preventive maintenance and energy management programs and standard operating procedures.
