Easterseals Rehabilitation Center's Assistive Technology Solutions department is seeking a full-time Seating and Mobility Specialist to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for a compassionate, motivated professional who is passionate about helping individuals achieve greater independence through seating, mobility, and assistive technology solutions. As our services continue to grow and expand, we are looking for someone who wants to grow with us while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
WHAT YOU WILL GET AS PART OF THE TEAM AT EASTERSEALS:
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
The Seating and Mobility Specialist evaluates individuals with complex rehabilitation, seating, positioning, and mobility needs and recommends appropriate equipment solutions that maximize independence, function, safety, and quality of life.
Responsibilities include conducting equipment evaluations, coordinating with physicians and therapists, securing funding and authorizations, ordering and tracking equipment, delivering and fitting equipment, and providing follow-up adjustments and support.
Experience in seating and mobility is preferred but not required.
This position does require some travel.
