Job summary

Redolent Infotech Pvt. Ltd. seeks a Seat Engineer in Newark, CA to join a world-class seating system engineering team.

You will contribute to industry-leading seating systems with safety, comfort, craftsmanship, ergonomics and functionality. Responsibilities include assisting in packaging, integration and release of advanced seat technologies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and collaborating with seating suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and technical excellence.

Qualifications

3+ years as a technical engineer leading seating development projects.
Knowledge of vehicle seating systems and demonstrated program execution.
Familiarity with safety regulations (FMVSS, ECE & ADR).
Experience with Seating Systems DVPRs and DFMEAs.
Ability to establish and improve technical specifications and timelines.

Be a significant contributor to a world-class seating system engineering team.
Contribute to creation of industry-leading seating systems with safety and ergonomics focus.
Ensure packaging, integration, and release of advanced seat technologies to meet performance targets.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize vehicle-wide benefits.
Liaise with seating suppliers to ensure technical excellence and on-time delivery.
Develop performance specs and tests for seat attributes including strength and durability.
Utilize CAD tools and innovative approaches to support development.
