Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to develop seating system requirements for cars and SUVs. You will complete and release seat components and detailed designs such as back frame, cushion frame, foam, trim and plastic.

You will collaborate with seat component suppliers and support vehicle development milestones and prototype/production build events. A BS in mechanical engineering with 5+ years in automotive seating is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive seating component.
• Knowledge of manufacturing technologies.
• Perform feasibility and packaging studies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Seating system requirements for Automotive (Cars and SUVs).
• Complete and release Seat components, sub-system and detail designs (Back Frame, Cushion frame, Foam, Trim, Plastic).
