Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a 2nd shift QA support role in our Prepared Foods division. The position involves hands-on work on the production floor to support food safety, product quality, and efficient operations.

You will use SAP to manage seasoning inventory, monitor processes, and collaborate across teams to resolve issues and drive improvements. Strong attention to detail, reliable communication, and manufacturing experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalently preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver seasoning to production areas in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure products and processes conform to company specs and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize SAP to maintain seasoning inventory through rotation, transfers, and reconciliation notifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and support continuous operations.
• Identify quality, material, product, or process concerns and initiate corrective actions.
• Conduct pre-operational and operational auditing to support food safety and quality goals.
• Operate and monitor brine systems to meet process requirements.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Participate in cross-training within other QA functions as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
