McCarthy Hyundai – Olathe in Kansas is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join a busy service department. In this role, you will inspect and recondition pre-owned vehicles, diagnose issues, and work with a variety of makes and models.

If you are self-motivated with solid communication skills and a high school diploma, this is a great opportunity. ASE certification is preferred but not required, with a supportive team and stable workflow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of technician experience in automotive service.
• High school diploma or GED.
• ASE certification preferred but not required.
• Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
• Self-motivated with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and recondition pre-owned vehicles.
• Perform mechanical diagnosis, problem solving and repair.
• Handle computer and electrical diagnosis, testing and repairs on various makes/models.
