Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional in Ohio to help clients with diverse tax needs and provide tax training. You’ll conduct interviews, prepare returns, and support clients against IRS processes with a knowledgeable team.

Preferred qualifications include a CPA/EA, a degree in accounting, and experience in tax planning, complex returns, and growth of client relationships.

Qualifications

• Must conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and via virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for various entities.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit notice services.
• Maintain continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma minimum, degree or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates in a fast-paced environment.
