Job summary

Presidential Bank, FSB is seeking a Mortgage Loan Processor to handle setup and processing of all mortgage loan types, maintain and transfer loans, order documents, and print loan packages. You will review documents for completeness and accuracy, and provide status updates to originators, borrowers, and title companies.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of mortgage processing experience, excellent communication and detail orientation, knowledge of underwriting guidelines

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write and communicate at a level consistent with the position.
• Knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines and credit analysis.
• Familiarity with federal lending regulations and RESPA requirements.
• Detail oriented with ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.

Responsibilities

• Process and set up all types of mortgage loans.
• Maintain and transfer loans between computer systems.
• Order required documents and print loan documents.
• Review loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Provide status updates to loan officer, applicant, Realtor, and title company.
• Clear outstanding conditions and schedule loan closings.
• Work with minimal supervision and follow procedures.
• Assist with reports and procedures as needed.
