Component Repair Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Manual VTL Machinist for the 3rd shift (Mon-Fri) in Mentor, OH. You will machine turbine engine components to OEM specs in a high-precision aerospace environment.

You will join a large machining department and collaborate with skilled machinists, interpreting drawings and applying precision setups, with safety and quality as top priorities.

Qualifikationen

• Five+ years of experience operating Manual Turret Lathe (VTL) equipment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and technical drawings.
• Experience in a job-shop environment.
• Set-up experience with tooling and fixtures.
• Ability to read and interpret prints.

Aufgaben

• Follow established safety policies and guidelines.
• Operate machines to remove material to achieve required dimensions.
• Inspect parts using gauges, calipers and other tools.
• Accurately record findings on work instructions and documents.
• Assist in on-the-job training for other machinists.
