CRT in Mentor, OH is seeking an experienced Manual VTL Machinist for a 3rd shift, Mon-Fri. The role involves machining turbine engine components to OEM specifications in a climate-controlled, state-of-the-art facility.

You will bring five plus years of VTL operation, GD&T understanding, and the ability to read technical drawings. The position includes machine setups, fixturing, and rework in a team-focused environment with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of experience operating Manual Turret Lathe (VTL) in a job shop environment.
• First article experience and ability to interpret drawings.
• Solid GD&T and critical dimensioning knowledge.
• Experience with machine setups and VTL tooling.
• Knowledge of fixtures and fixturing for runouts.
• Ability to read technical drawings and interpret features for machining starting points.
• Experience with rework.

Responsabilités

• Machining turbine engine components to OEM specifications.
• Collaborate within a large machining department including CNC VTL, Mill, Grind and Manual operations.
• Work in a climate-controlled, modern facility with a team of experienced machinists.
