Black Forest Apartments is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to uphold a clean, safe, and appealing community for residents. You will manage repairs, preventative maintenance, and on-call needs while delivering excellent service and coordinating with residents and teams.

The role requires hands-on expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, drywall, painting, and carpentry, plus EPA certification. A valid driver’s license and the ability to lift 50 pounds complete the requirements for

Qualifications

• 3+ years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and general carpentry.
• EPA Certification (Universal or Type II) preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform apartment turns, including repairs, painting, and punch-out work.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general building systems.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on community equipment and common areas.
