Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group in Jackson, TN is seeking a dedicated Cook for full-time shifts (6a-2p or 11a-7p, some weekends) to prepare meals for residents and guests according to menus and recipes.

Minimum of a high school diploma and at least three years of line cook experience; strong communication skills are essential. You will work with staff to ensure proper portioning, food safety, and timely service in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Strong communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to the planned menu using standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and/or prepared.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the kitchen area.
