Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, guests, and staff in a live-in community setting. You will follow planned menus, use standard recipes, and plate dishes with proper portions and garnish.

You will support other kitchen staff and ensure timely prep and service. Responsibilities include maintaining freshness and seasoning, communicating shortages, stocking and cleaning stations, and following sanitation policies while contributing to a positive team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years of line cook experience and/or training.
• Good communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prepare food for residents, guests, and employees.
• Prepare food according to planned menus and standard recipes.
• Plate items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructions.
• Assist other kitchen staff and perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure sufficient food is prepped and prepared.
• Communicate shortages or outages to supervisor.
• Maintain freshness, proper cooking status, and seasoning of foods.
• Stock and clean station for next shift.
• Follow food rotation policies and maintain a clean workstation.
• Keep a positive team environment and promote resident and guest relations.
