Job summary

ProLift Toyota Material Handling is seeking an experienced Shop Service Technician to provide world-class maintenance and repair services for forklifts and material handling equipment at customer locations.

You will diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts, troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical systems, perform preventative maintenance, use diagnostic software, document service activities, and maintain tools while representing ProLift professionally.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience repairing industrial equipment or material handling equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school education preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with diagnostic software preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electric and internal combustion forklifts.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, engine, drivetrain, and electronic systems.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic software.
• Complete accurate service documentation.
• Recommend repairs that improve uptime and equipment reliability.
• Maintain bay, tools, and inventory.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing ProLift professionally.
