Job summary

Rose Senior Living Clinton Township is recruiting for a hospitality focused Cook to join our team. This position is responsible for full-scope, hands on production cooking in the Community Culinary Services Department and for maintaining a superior level of quality service and cleanliness at all times.

Full time shift 10:30A-7:00P with great benefits. Flexibility to work mornings/afternoons/holidays/weekends is required, supporting a culture of hospitality and exemplary resident interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Culinary degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year cooking experience in restaurant or senior living.
• State-required sanitation certification/license.

Responsibilities

• Exemplify cleanliness and operational standards.
• Produce and serve menu cycles meeting dietary criteria.
• Maintain cooking speed, accuracy, and quality.
• Assist with serving meals and ware washing.
• Evaluate food service quality during resident visits and adjust procedures to improve service.
• Represent the community with warmth and hospitality.
