Job summary

Harnden Construction Services, LLC is seeking an experienced laborer to join the Ft. Meade, MD crew.

The role involves performing essential construction tasks, working in a crew under supervision, and shifting between duties as needed on heavy civil projects. Candidates should have at least one month of related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to read measurements and follow safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Mathematical skills including rate, ratio, and percent.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions.
• Problem solving and adaptability on a construction site.
• Ability to wear and utilize PPE as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all work adhering to OSHA and H&K Safety policies.
• Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes, and stretches tight line.
• Mixes concrete and finishes freshly poured cement or concrete.
• Positions, joins, aligns, and seals pipe sections; erects scaffolding and shoring.
• Paving and pipe duties including marking, grading, and backfilling as required.
• Other duties as assigned
