Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is hiring experienced asphalt crew members for paving operations in Ohio. Ideal candidates have a CDL Class A or B and screed experience, and must be willing to travel and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities include assisting the paving crew, maintaining equipment, and supporting the foreperson to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality paving at multiple job sites across the region.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Willingness to travel and work nights/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist paving crew with shovel, raking, and material handling.
• Maintain equipment and assist foreperson and crew as needed.
• Ensure proper setup of screed and head of material for continuous paving.
• Follow safety procedures and quality controls.
