Job summary

The Shelly Company, a CRH company, is seeking Experienced Asphalt Crew Members to support daily paving operations across Ohio. Ideal candidates will have a Class A or B CDL and/or screed experience, be willing to travel, work flexible hours, and join the laborer's union immediately. Safety-minded teamwork is essential.

Responsibilities include assisting paving crews, performing light maintenance, and ensuring proper hopper management and material flow during paving operations.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B is preferred.
• Experience with screed operations is desirable.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to varied hours and sites.
• Must be able to work effectively in a crew and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist paving crew with duties such as shovel and raking, and loading materials.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and support foreperson as needed.
• Follow directions and maintain smooth paving operations.
• Maintain hopper management and ensure proper material flow during paving.
• Keep the work area clean and promote a safe site.
