Job summary

Logan Health Whitefish seeks a Seasonal X-ray & CT Technologist for a 13-week commitment in Whitefish, MT. You will perform diagnostic X-ray and CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, quality imaging, and accurate documentation in the EHR.

The role requires ARRT radiography and CT credentials, Montana licensure, and BLS certification, with a collaborative care team. You’ll inspect equipment, support quality control, and assist with clerical duties.

Qualifications

• Must have Montana Radiologic Technologist License.
• ARRT Registration in Radiography (R) is required.
• ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) or ability to obtain within the required timeframe.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
• Working knowledge of radiographic positioning, CT imaging protocols, cross-sectional anatomy, anatomy and physiology, and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations with support for specialty imaging procedures.
• Conduct daily equipment safety inspections, warm-up procedures, preventive maintenance checks, and quality control testing.
• Explain imaging procedures to patients and review medical history and safety considerations.
• Position patients accurately and utilize imaging protocols to obtain high-quality images.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT technique; monitor patient safety and comfort.
• Review images for diagnostic quality and document procedures in the EHR.
• Maintain imaging equipment and support a clean, safe environment.
• Schedule patients and assist with departmental clerical tasks.
