Job summary

Logan Health's Whitefish location seeks an X-ray & CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and CT procedures using advanced equipment. You will work with physicians and imaging teams to deliver high-quality studies while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Requirements include Montana licensure, ARRT radiography registration, CT certification or progression, and BLS. Knowledge of imaging protocols, anatomy, and PACS is expected; EHR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Current Montana Radiologic Technologist License required.
  • ARRT Registration in Radiography (R) required.
  • ARRT Certification in CT or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
  • AHA BLS certification or ability to obtain within two months of hire.
  • Knowledge of radiographic positioning, CT protocols, anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety.
  • Experience with EHR systems (Meditech/Cerner) and PACS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray and CT examinations.
  • Conduct equipment safety inspections, warm‑up, preventive maintenance, and QC testing.
  • Explain imaging procedures, review medical history and allergies, provide compassionate care.
  • Position patients and apply imaging protocols to obtain high-quality images.
  • Review images for diagnostic quality and document procedures in the EHR.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient care.

In this position, you'll perform diagnostic X-ray and computed tomography (CT) procedures using advanced imaging technology while working collaboratively with physicians and a dedicated healthcare team.
