Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT, is seeking a CT Scan Technologist for a night-shift seasonal assignment of at least 13 weeks. You will perform detailed CT examinations following ACR standards and ALARA principles to aid diagnosis and treatment.

The role requires MT Radiologic Technologist license, ARRT certification, BLS, and strong patient communication skills. You’ll join a supportive team in a fast-paced radiology department while delivering high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana Radiologic Technologist license required by law.
• ARRT certification as Radiologic Technologist required.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• CT certification by ARRT preferred within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.
• Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.
• Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.
• Communicate with patients, ensuring understanding of procedures and post-exam instructions.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns per department protocols.

Your Role:

As a CT Scan Technologist, you'll utilize advanced, non-invasive computerized medical technology to take detailed CT images, helping diagnose, evaluate, and treat a wide range of medical conditions. What You Need:

• Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana State Radiologic Technologist License (required by law).
• Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the ARRT (required).
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months of hire).
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for patient care and the ability to work both independently and in a team.

Shift: Night Shift - 12 Hours (United States of America).

Schedule: Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
