Job summary

The University of North Carolina System is seeking a Seasonal Winter Lights Ticketing Agent in Asheville, NC to support the Winter Lights fundraiser at the Arboretum. This part-time role runs daytime hours 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. during the season, with ticket sales handled via EventBrite.

Duties include answering calls, delivering guest services, processing refunds and exchanges, and assisting guests with software. Holiday availability and weekend work are required.

Qualifications

• Evening, weekend and holiday availability is REQUIRED.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ticket sales and guest services using EventBrite.
• Answer phone calls and provide customer support.
• Process refunds and exchanges; troubleshoot guest issues.
• Learn new software quickly and assist staff with Winter Lights tasks.
