Job summary

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older.
• Progressive retail experience.
• Product knowledge in wine and spirits.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Strong integrity, honesty and professionalism.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and store policies (e.g., TABC).

Responsibilities

• Practice responsible alcohol service in accordance with local and state laws, including identification verification and intoxication prevention.
• Assist in all aspects of store operations, with focus on cleanliness and product displays, signage quality, safety, and customer service.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by being knowledgeable on all products and collaborating with coworkers.
• Maintain awareness of product knowledge and trends in wine and spirits.
• Set and achieve high standards in retail execution.
• Communicate with Store Team Leaders about store operations.
• Operate POS, handle transactions, and balance cash at the end of each shift.
• Respond promptly to customer needs and questions, including phone inquiries.
• Maintain accuracy of cash and coins and ensure correct financial transactions.
• All other duties as assigned.
