Job summary

Total Wine & More in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Seasonal Cashier/Sales Associate to deliver fast, friendly service, process transactions, promote loyalty, and build product knowledge through ongoing training. You may also assist as a merchandiser, with a flexible schedule including weekends and evenings.

High school diploma preferred; 21+ required; prior retail or POS experience is a plus. Competitive hourly pay in a seasonal role, with benefits and discounts as part of Total Wine & More’s total

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of work experience, retail experience preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including identification verification, payment handling, loyalty program participation, and bagging.
• Deliver exceptional service and a personalized experience by greeting customers and informing about products.
• Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge.
• Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards across the store.
• Ensure adherence to laws related to sale of alcohol and maintain a safe, compliant store environment.
• Complete cross-functional responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
