Luttrell Staffing Group is hiring Seasonal Weekend Assembly & Packaging roles in Maryville, TN for our partner Newell Brands. The positions are full-time, short-term temporary with potential for temp-to-hire. Shifts include weekends, with day or night options.

You'll inspect, assemble and package inventory in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, operate related equipment, and ensure safety, quality and productivity standards are met. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Tennessee Career Readiness Certificate Silver Level preferred.
• Visual aptitude is essential.
• Ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally.
• Must be able to stand for 12 consecutive hours.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Operate assembly, packaging, and labeling machines while meeting safety and quality standards.
• Assemble, sort, count, and package products per order specs.
• Label and seal packages, verify product information and quantities.
• Inspect products and packaging, remove damaged items.
• Meet production schedules and complete required quantities.
• Perform machine changeovers and minor adjustments; assist maintenance.
• Replenish packaging materials to keep production moving.
• Maintain daily production and quality records.
• Pack finished products for storage or shipment.
• Keep workstation clean, reduce waste, report hazards.

Key duties and details for Seasonal Weekend Assembly & Packaging Associate:

• Operate assembly, packaging, and labeling machines while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards
• Assemble, sort, count, and package products according to order specifications
• Label and seal packages, verifying product information and quantities for accuracy
• Inspect products and packaging regularly, removing damaged or defective items
• Meet production schedules by completing required quantities within assigned time frames
• Perform machine changeovers and minor adjustments, troubleshoot issues, and assist maintenance personnel with repairs
• Replenish packaging materials and supplies to keep production running efficiently
• Perform production calculations and complete daily production and quality records
• Pack finished products into cartons and prepare them for storage or shipment
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation, reduce material waste, and promptly identify and report safety hazards
• Follow all policies and safety procedures in place
• Completes any other related tasks as needed

Qualifications and Desired Skills for Seasonal Weekend Assembly & Packaging Associate:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Tennessee Career Readiness Certificate Silver Level preferred
• Visual aptitude – must be able to see with or without correction
• Ability to communicate verbally or non-verbally
• Ability to perform standing job for 12 consecutive hours
• Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, reach and grasp for varying periods of time during a consecutive 12-hour period
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
