Job summary

The City of Bountiful is seeking an entry-level water maintenance worker under the Water Director to perform daily maintenance tasks and support water system operations.

Responsibilities include installing new water main and service lines, assisting with leaks, maintaining valves, and keeping sites safe. Must lift up to 100 pounds, have a Utah driver's license, and pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• This is an entry level position.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.
• General knowledge of hand tools.

• Lift and move parts involved in a water system such as pipe, valves, and fittings.
• Pressure Regulating Valves maintenance.
• Assist with keeping job sites safe from hazards for crews and the public.

Under the direct supervision of the Water Director, the water system maintenance worker performs daily water maintenance responsibilities for the City of Bountiful.
