Job summary

A. Duie Pyle, Inc is seeking a Seasonal Warehouser at our Westfield, MA location. The role involves loading/unloading trailers, picking, packing, and staging freight, using scanners, and maintaining safety and efficiency on the warehouse floor.

Candidates should have warehouse or material handling experience if possible and be able to read, write, and speak English. A High School diploma or equivalent is preferred and lifting up to 25+ lbs is common in this role.

Qualifications

• Prior warehousing or logistics experience preferred.
• Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs.
• English reading/writing/speaking proficient for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Pick, pack, and stage freight for pickup.
• Physically lift and move boxes as required.
• Use scanners to read, track and monitor freight in the warehouse.
• Maintain a customer service mindset throughout operations.

Job description

A. Duie Pyle is seeking a Seasonal Warehouser to join our team in our Westfield location. Our warehouse workers are responsible for safely loading and unloading, organizing, and packing and unpacking freight. Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.

Pay Rate: $20.15

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Loading and unloading trailers using appropriate equipment - carts, dollies, hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
• Picking, packing, and staging freight for pickup
• Physically lifting and moving boxes
• Utilizing scanners to read, track and monitor freight throughout the warehouse
• Operating with a customer service first mentality
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Prior experience in warehousing, freight and/or logistics preferred
• Ability to frequently lift merchandise weighing in excess of 25 lbs
• Ability to read, write and speak English; communicate effectively
