Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Supervisor to lead safety, production and attendance in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves training staff, maintaining high standards for productivity and quality, and fostering a collaborative, proactive team culture across all levels of the organization.

The position requires lifting ability, flexible scheduling, and strong communication skills, with a preference for candidates with a bachelor’s degree and prior management experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs/32 kg.
• Flexible shift hours up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Experience in management preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensure employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times, in compliance with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with employee involvement and proactive communication.
• Implements employee development plans to support continued growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all employees receive orientation, skills and safety training and regular evaluations.
• Ensures all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures at all times.
