UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. in Houston is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Supervisor to lead safety, production, and attendance.

You will supervise training, develop workgroups, and maintain high standards for productivity, accuracy, customer service, organization, and safety. You will foster a positive team environment, promote cross-departmental cooperation, and implement development plans to advance staff skills and performance.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times, complying with department, station, corporate and local government requirements.
• Manages department resources to ensure maximum output, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and cross-departmental cooperation.
• Implements personal development plans to ensure ongoing growth of department personnel.
• Ensures all employees receive orientation, training, materials, evaluations, and coaching for development.
• Ensures safety policies and procedures are followed at all times.
