Job summary

UPS is seeking a warehouse supervisor to lead and develop workgroups focused on safety, productivity and quality. The role emphasizes building strong relationships with staff and customers while upholding high standards of accuracy, organization, and communication.

The incumbent will drive process improvements, coordinate training initiatives, and ensure adherence to safety and company policies across all shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
• Management experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management, and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Ensures that all employees adhere to safety policies and procedures per department, station, corporate and local requirements.
• Manages department resources to maximize output, accuracy and efficiency.
• Establishes and promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication and collaboration.
• Implements employee development plans to support ongoing growth.
• Ensures orientation, training, materials and evaluations for department personnel.
