Qualifications

• Coursework or degree in CS, IE, logistics or IT systems, or relevant experience.
• Experience handling peak seasonal volume spikes in retail/e‑commerce/3PL.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON structures, and scanner logs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time order flow via WMS/WCS to prevent bottlenecks.
• Track aging orders and coordinate with leadership to meet SLAs.
• Oversee print jobs for shipping labels and packing slips.
• Write and troubleshoot lightweight JavaScript scripts and integrations.
• Assist in monitoring AWS serverless components (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch).
• Serve as liaison to IT Director and Operations Engineers for patches and testing.

About The Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Seasonal Warehouse Controls Coordinator to oversee order processing workflows and provide critical technical support at our Groveport, OH distribution facility during peak season. In this high-impact, hybrid operational and technical role, you will act as the bridge between distribution center operations and our IT engineering teams. You will manage day-to-day order flow, order aging, and label printing while leveraging your background in JavaScript and AWS serverless architecture to keep our automated high-capacity facilities running smoothly.

• Monitor and route real-time order volume through the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Warehouse Control System (WCS) to maintain peak performance and eliminate fulfillment bottlenecks.
• Track aging and stagnant orders proactively, identifying root causes for delays and coordinating directly with warehouse leadership to meet holiday peak service level agreements (SLAs).
• Oversee batch and dynamic print jobs for shipping labels, packing slips, and compliance labels to ensure continuous operation across picking and packing lines.
• Write, adjust, and troubleshoot lightweight JavaScript scripts, custom integration logic, and dynamic label formatting to resolve active production issues.
• Assist in monitoring AWS serverless cloud components (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch) driving order flow automation and middleware integrations.
• Serve as the primary operational liaison supporting the Director of IT Engineering and collaborating with Operations Engineers, surfacing line errors, helping deploy quick patches, and running live tests.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management.
