Qualifications

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Flexibility for overtime including weekends.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong inventory control and cycle counting skills.
• Background in safety, OSHA or EHS training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 75+ lbs occasionally.
• Ability to use reach trucks or cherry pickers to 23+ feet.
• Must comply with COVID safety policies.
• Pre-employment drug test may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational processes to maintain correct inventory levels and complete orders accurately and on time.
• Review workload and assign tasks to employees.
• Train and coach the warehouse team and provide developmental opportunities.
• Recommend performance improvement actions as needed.
• Use the warehouse management system correctly and maintain work documents.
• Establish, maintain and promote exceptional customer service.
• Interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures.
• Safely operate various equipment and tools.
• Provide support and backup to warehouse management.
• Track orders and investigate problems.
• Catalog and track goods and supplies.
• Maintain a clean environment under the 7S program.
• Work safely to protect team members.
• Work Monday–Friday, 7:00pm–5:30am for a 4-month seasonal duration.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment
• 1 year of SAP experience
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and handheld scanners
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
• Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
• 1 year of experience as a supervisor (preferred)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Skills in inventory control and cycle counting
• Background in safety, OSHA or EHS training
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to take a reach truck or cherry picker to a height of 23+ feet
• Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments
• Must comply with GXO COVID safety policies and CDC, OSHA, state and local requirements
• May be required to pass a pre-employment drug test
