Job summary

Jobtailor in Ohio is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Leader to drive efficiency in our Groveport fulfillment center. You will partner with site leadership to identify priorities, map processes, and execute Lean projects that boost productivity, quality, safety, and service levels.

The role requires deep experience in fulfillment, distribution, and 3PL environments, with a proven ability to build business cases, lead Kaizen events, and influence senior stakeholders to sustain gains.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, or continuous improvement environments using automation.
• 3+ years of experience within a 3PL, fulfillment, or high-volume distribution operation.
• Proven success influencing executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations, business cases, and operational analyses.
• Proven track record leading operational improvement initiatives with measurable gains.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, or similar methodologies.
• Demonstrated success improving labor efficiency, workforce productivity, and operational KPIs in warehouse or distribution environments.
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives through implementation and sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with fulfillment site leadership to identify, prioritize, and execute continuous improvement initiatives
• Improve productivity, quality, safety, customer outcomes, labor-to-revenue performance, throughput, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and service-level attainment
• Analyze operational performance data to identify trends, root causes, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities
• Lead Kaizen events, process mapping, root cause analyses, and other Lean methodologies
• Develop and implement standardized operating procedures and best practices across fulfillment centers
• Collaborate with clients and operational leadership to improve service delivery and client relationships
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, IT, Finance, HR, and Customer Success teams on scalable improvements
• Support new client launches, process transitions, and operational readiness initiatives
• Build business cases and ROI analyses for improvement opportunities, technology investments, and automation
• Monitor and communicate project progress, KPIs, and realized business impact to leadership
• Coach leaders and teams on Lean principles, problem-solving, and accountability
• Identify improvements to employee engagement, retention, team effectiveness, and operational consistency

Requirements

• Candidates must live in or around Groveport, Ohio
• 7+ years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, or continuous improvement environments using automation
• 3+ years of experience within a 3PL, fulfillment, or high-volume distribution operation
• Proven success influencing executive stakeholders through data-driven recommendations, business cases, and operational analyses
• Proven track record leading operational improvement initiatives with measurable gains
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis, or similar methodologies
• Demonstrated success improving labor efficiency, workforce productivity, and operational KPIs in warehouse or distribution environments
• Experience partnering with senior operational leaders and influencing change across complex organizations
• Strong working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, labor management tools, and operational reporting platforms
• Experience building business cases, developing ROI analyses, and tracking benefits realization
• Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives through implementation and sustainment
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work primarily in the Groveport fulfillment facility and handle frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching
• Occasional ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
