Job summary

ID Logistics US is seeking an Electric Pallet Jack Operator in a warehouse in New Jersey. The role involves unloading/loading inbound/outbound goods, moving, locating, stacking and counting products using powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain equipment and cleanliness; follow safety and PPE standards.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and report unsafe conditions.

A successful Electric Pallet Jack Operator will be responsible for unloading and loading all inbound and outbound products, along with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Complete daily inspections of equipment.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can't be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Other duties as assigned.

$25hour + $1.00 shift differential for second shift

Requirements:

• High School Diploma, or GED.
• Electric Pallet Jack Operator experience, 2-year minimum.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• 1 year of experience in a warehousing/distribution environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
• Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
• Have a safety-first attitude.
