Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking an Electric Pallet Jack Operator in New Jersey. The role involves unloading and loading inbound/outbound products, moving, stacking, and counting using powered industrial equipment.

You will follow safety procedures, inspect equipment daily, and ensure accuracy of loads and paperwork. Qualified candidates have at least a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of pallet jack experience, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Electric Pallet Jack Operator experience, 2-year minimum.
• Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
• 1 year of warehousing/distribution experience.
• Follow PPE standards and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products using powered equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment with accuracy.
• Move products from staging areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Maintain equipment, clean and orderly work area.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and safety checks.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and damage-free.
• Follow customer instructions for load count and stability.

Operates gasoline-, liquefied gas-, or electric-powered industrial equipment equipped with lifting devices, such as sit-down, stand-up, clamp, or other elevating equipment to push, pull, lift, stack, tier, or move products, equipment, or materials in a warehouse setting

A successful Electric Pallet Jack Operator will be responsible for unloading and loading all inbound and outbound products, along with moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using powered industrial equipment.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Efficiently move product from staging and/or storage areas into rail cars, trailers, or containers.
• Maintain equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
• Follow customer requirements and/or other instructions to ensure accuracy: load count, stability of product, and that all products are loaded and unloaded safely.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods and OSHA standards.
• Complete daily inspections of equipment.
• Perform good housekeeping practices, clean as you go process.
• Conduct operations and equipment in a manner that promotes safety and report unsafe conditions that can't be self-corrected to the leadership team.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quality variances.
• Other duties as assigned.

Schedule: M-F 6:00am - 2:30pm or 3:30pm-12:00am

$25hour+ $1.00 shift differential for second shift

3. Ability to lift and move 50+ lbs.
4. 1 year of experience in a warehousing/distribution environment.
5. Ability to stand, walk, bend, extend, reach, and twist for long periods of time.
6. Follow all standards of PPE in the distribution center: for example, wearing steel toed shoes, safety glasses, safety vest or any other standards provided by site leadership.
7. Have a safety-first attitude.
