Safelite Fulfilment in Salt Lake City is seeking a Seasonal Warehouse Associate I to prepare glass for distribution and support fast shipping timelines. You will operate an Order Picker to stock and pick glass at heights up to 40 ft and inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or damage.

Daily duties include warehouse operations such as building maintenance, cleaning, inventory prep, and bin maintenance. Must be 18+ with ability to lift up to 50 lbs and learn MHE; safety rules apply.

• Ability to operate (or learn) Material Handling Equipment (MHE); Order Picker certification required.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally; heavy lifting up to 300 pounds safety limit for equipment use.

Seasonal Warehouse Associate I

Prepares glass for distribution to our operation teams by performing various support functions to meet rigorous shipping timelines to get the right parts to the right team members to serve our customers.

Schedule

Monday - Friday and Tuesday - Saturday

Compensation

• Pay starting at $18.67/hour.
• Weekly payday on every Friday!

Responsibilities

• Perform glass handling, cleaning, buffing, taping and recovery of damaged glass.
• Proactively inspect inventory for defects, scratches, or other damage.
• Safely operate Order Picker at heights of up to 40 ft to stock and pick glass inventory.
• Provide daily operations for warehouse management, including: building maintenance, cleaning, inventory preparation and bin maintenance.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) Material Handling Equipment (MHE). Eventual completion of MHE certification (Order Picker) required.
• Strength to perform physical tasks involving repetitive moving or raising of objects weighing up to 35 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds.
• To safely operate the order picker and comply with equipment manufacturer specifications and required safety regulations, there is a weight limit set at 300 pounds. If you are hired to operate this equipment, you will need to weigh under 300lbs.
• Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts.
• Punctuality and consistent attendance to help your teammates.
• Positive attitude with a focus on exceptional service.
