The Warehouse Associate position at Scheels will perform various duties within our receiving, shipping, picking and packing areas of our offsite warehouse located in Fargo, ND. Preferred candidates have an energy and sense of urgency that matches the expectations of Scheels. Production standards and accuracy are essential aspects of this position.

Temporary associates will join our team the following date range: October 1st, 2026 - January 5th, 2026 with availability to work nights and weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Operate pallet jack to move shipments between platforms, storage and work areas
  • Maintain proper inventory levels stocked at all locations in warehouses
  • Keep accurate track of inventory of all items using tools provided
  • Loads and unloads trailers by hand
  • Packs customer orders for shipment
  • Sort items to correct stores
  • Selects and verifies product for fulfillment and moves to the correct area for shipping
  • Receive and organize merchandise
  • Handle incoming merchandise with efficiency to assure correct counts
  • Learn new software requirements and help with producing procedures for other locations
  • Maintains work area by cleaning as needed
  • Perform work efficiently and effectively with a high level of accuracy in a fast paced environment
  • Strive for continuous personal and professional improvement in the workplace
  • Ability to communicate with fellow associates in a courteous and professional manner
  • Demonstrate strong organization, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and problem solving skills
  • Ability to navigate a personal computer and handheld inventory computer/scanner

  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Schedule, at times, may include weekends and evenings especially during holiday periods

Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree.

Physical Requirements/Lifting Requirements:

Must be able to sit, stand (for extended periods of time), bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.

Very heavy work – Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
