Campaign for Working Families is seeking a Seasonal Virtual Intake Specialist for the 2027 tax season (beginning January) in Philadelphia, PA. The role is the first point of contact for clients using our virtual tax preparation service, coordinating intake, verifying eligibility, and collecting required documents.

You will maintain accurate client records, route cases to certified Tax Associates, and ensure timely follow-up while protecting taxpayer information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equiv required.
• Associate or bachelor's in accounting, finance, business or related field preferred.
• At least two tax seasons of VITA/TCE or comparable experience preferred.
• Proficiency with tax prep software, computers, email and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Assist intake and eligibility screening for clients.
• Coordinate intake interviews and obtain required consents.
• Maintain accurate client records and track intake progress.
• Communicate with clients via phone, text, or email channels.
• Escalate issues to Virtual Tax Site Coordinator as needed.
