Working Families, Inc. seeks a Seasonal Resource Specialist to rotate among tax sites in the Philadelphia area, helping filers access stability and mobility services while they receive tax preparation.

You will screen for public-benefit eligibility, assist with applications for programs like PA Property Tax/Rent Rebate (PACE), explain CWF services, complete warm referrals, and document outcomes while upholding confidentiality and client flow.

Qualifications

• Experience assisting diverse clients in a public service setting.
• Ability to explain complex programs clearly to clients.
• Familiarity with public benefits programs and enrollment processes.

Responsibilities

• Travel among assigned tax sites according to deployment schedule and adjust coverage as needed.
• Coordinate arrival, workspace, outreach timing, client routing, and service expectations with site leadership.
• Engage filers respectfully in waiting areas and transitions without delaying tax service or compromising privacy.
• Provide accurate explanations of benefits and CWF services; obtain consent for information collection.
• Use approved outreach materials and enrollment tools; maintain a professional, visible presence at each site.
• Support language access, disability access, cultural responsiveness, dignity, and equitable participation.
