Thompson Palm Springs invites applications for a Seasonal Upper Stories Bartender/Server to serve guests in our exclusive Upper Stories 21+ accommodations. The role emphasizes creative mixology, attentive service, and maintaining an attractive bar area.

Compensation is $20 per hour, nonexempt, with a Memorial Day 2027 end date, and extension possible based on business needs. Previous full-service bar experience and knowledge of local serving guidelines are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience working at a full-service bar.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced, fine dining restaurant/bar setting preferred.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must have physical stamina to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Riverside County Food Handler Card as required by county regulations.
